Sharp Edges
One day, I was cleaning our garage door tracks. This was part of a regular maintenance routine that I do every six months to make sure the door is working in perfect condition. Of course, I kept the door open while doing this. As I was finishing up, I noticed that there were some sharp edges along the sides of the door. I kept a watchful eye on these and noted that I would have to do something about them soon.
My wife did not know that I was working on the door tracks
When she saw the garage open, she casually closed the door using the remote. The door closed on me, I moved out before the rollers get my fingers but the sharp edges that I saw earlier cut my right shoulder.
I was sent to the hospital and had the six-inch laceration stitched. We had to call Wood Dale garage door repair services to take care of those sharp edges to avoid further accidents in the future.
